Winner or Loser
Thanks Iris send me this article from Purpose Driven Life. A good reminder for me.
Life is all about ups and downs. We're all going to have good days and bad days. Winners don't win all the time; losers don't lose all the time. In fact, most of the time, it's hard to tell the difference. You can't make one's experience the judge of everything. Pretty much all of sports tells us that winning is only a slight edge.
So what's the point of this for us? Experience isn't everything. If you're having a hard day, be patient, things are about to change. If you are cruising on top of things, enjoy it, because things are about to change. Change is the one constant for all of us, and those who are best prepared for it will have the best experience. If you expect things to always go well and get upset when they don't, you're in for making tough times tougher. If you are simply grateful for what each day brings, you will fare much better in the long run.
Paul revealed the secret for making it through his "season" of life. "I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength" (Philippians 4:12-13).
It is a way to live that evens out the wins and the losses. It even leaves the wins and losses up to God. Don't you remember that coach who taught you as a kid that it's not all about winning or losing, but how you play the game that counts?
Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. (Psalm 90:12)

Angel & Eva
I had two grade six students (Angel & Eva) assisting me for a computer class which was a group of 20 students from grade one to five. They helped the younger ones to finish their tasks. They were quite helpful and released me a bit from the noisy environment. I liked and enjoyed this Friday afternoon teaching job. This brought me back to the real world. I loved to hear from students and I could know what they were facing. After the class, Angel and Eva showed me their blogs. I could tell they were really good at making their own homepages. As I always say, children are so smart and bright. They can master all new technologies in a minute. But their talent may not be recognized from their academicals results. Just like my son Jack, he loves all kinds of sports but he doesn’t pay much attention on his study. According to the education system in HK, Jack, Angel and Eva will promote to Middle schools this September. They need to wait for the allocation result in July. While I were walking back home with Angel and Eva, they told me about their preferred middle school. They also told me that their school’s standard do not compete with other primary schools. I felt sad to hear from them that our education system did not create a healthy environment for students to have a positive attitude towards learning. Students only know that they need to compete with others. What a terrible city we are in!

Back to 3.3 feel again
Thanks God let me to join our 3.3 group again even though I want to withdraw from the group. God knows my need and HE always prepares for me. I had good time to meet my 3.3 friends again. Even though the time was short and we didn’t discuss much on the subject matter that we suppose to do so. I don’t care and I think our relationship is more important than the study.
Thanks God you grant me to know Phyllis and Johann. Please send your angels surround them and comfort them. Thanks Phyllis for her inspiration of setting up my blog. Otherwise this blog won’t appear. Thanks Johann for his consistent effort to arrange the study group. Without his persistent email and phone call, I will miss the valuable time with 3.3 group. Johann, I really appreciate what you had done for the group.
God, sometime I will ask myself: Am I here to study you? That’s totally impossible and innocent. How can I study you? You are the Creator God and know me more than I do. I don’t want to know you only from my head; I really want to know you deep from my heart.
Dear Lord, please help me to know you more clearly, to love you more dearly, to follow you more nearly, day by day.
